It is a well known fact that Spanish super club Real Madrid possesses one of the best squads in world football, but with such an abundance of talent comes the difficult task of keeping every player happy.
That has long been an issue for Los Blancos, and it could result in the loss of midfield starlet Marco Asensio, according to the Manchester Evening News.
Reports have suggested that Real are in advanced talks with Chelsea winger Eden Hazard, and that Asensio has declared that he will need to leave the club if the Belgian does make the switch to Madrid.
The youngster has experienced sporadic game time since his emergence as a top quality player, and he clearly fears that the arrival of Hazard will limit his minutes even further.
For a player of just 21-years of age gaining experience is crucial to his development, and staying in Madrid may limit his growth, especially given the depth of their squad at present.
Thankfully Premier League giants Manchester United have expressed an interest in Asensio, and he could well make the switch to the English top flight if Hazard goes the other way.
The Red Devils are looking to secure second spot in the table, having let their City rivals run away with the league, but the addition of Asensio would certainly help their cause.
